Coal was burned at one of the wagons at the Ljubljana – Polje railway station. The fire was extinguished by professional and volunteer firefighters and was expected to burn around 22 tons of coal.
Around 17. 30 at the Ljubljana – Polje railway station there was a spontaneous combustion of coal on one of the wagons.
Fire brigade (GB) Ljubljana and Volunteer Fire Association (PGD) Slape – Polje, PGD Zgornji Kašelj and PGD Zadobrova – Sneberje – Novo Polje.
Together they worked together 38 firefighters, nine from GB Ljubljana and
from volunteer societies that arrived with vehicles were reported from GB Ljubljana. Firefighters extinguished the fire. It burned about 25 tons of coal.
As reported by firefighters from the Slape Fire Department – The field did not spread the fire to other wagons.
